I keep getting email notifications from FamilySearch.org if I would like to learn more or see a document on an ancestor. Problem is I gave you those documents & contributed to the tree information. I assume 80-90% of the people aren't as involved or knowledgeable about their ancestry trees. But, these notifications appear to be in the system, low hanging fruit one could say. Here are real challenges: 1. Prove with records or documents James Gibson KFLW-7XM married Mary Essington. 2. Prove with records or documents L4S6-5DB Joseph Gibson's parents are the ones in #1. 3. Find & prove with documents L1CF-54D Samuel Gibson's military records at Valley Forge, siblings, parents, place of birth, & colony of origin. After 8 years of searching, I hired 3 respected researchers even one across the street from Provo's Center. They make assumptions & guesses without documented verifications, don't know or try to get familiar with my lineage like I do, & when they do find a document, I didn't give them don't know what they have right in front of them. I do get a pretty genealogy 101 folder with documents that have no probable family connections and make suggestions which were my center of requested search. Yes, I sound frustrated. Problem with the Gibson clans is there is now 42 Samuel Gibson in colonies during the Revolutionary War with 18 in the colonies which by document elimination there is 1 left at this time. I realize that the time period not much survived. Most ever one of the notifications goes to trash. Thank you for your time, KrisKersch1
