Redo Family Search...

Hello Judith, I'm sorry that you dislike the combined tree and the public access we give to all. The purpose here with FamilySearch is to help discover, gather, and connect your family, for the past, present, and future. If there is a person you are having trouble with, you can message them on FamilySearch by clicking on their names.
Also, the new Person page has a feature in the notes that you can mark a note as "Alert Note" to ensure that people will look at the notes before changing anything on the person. This will make people read the notes that you put down, like "Don't Change this information because of..."
For all the changes that were made onto your person, you can go into the person's history, by clicking on "Show All" under the "Latest Changes" tab, and you can undo what was changed up to when the person was added into the FamilySearch Webpage (at max 2012). If any of the information doesn't apply, check the merged people.
If the cooperation of other patrons concerns you, you can use our partner sites, (such as Ancestry, FindMyPast, or MyHeritage) or use computer based programs such as RootsMagic to house your research.
I hope this helps in your research and for the connection of your family.
