Notification of a new Catalog that has been added to FamilySearch
Is it possible in FamilySearch to receive a notification when a new Catalog has been added?

If you mean a new collection of records - yes - those announcements are found in the blog - you can subscribe and should receive notification. There should also be an announcement when the new Catalog is released.
