With the New Person Page- View my relationship

When using View my relationship with the New Person Page with the display spouse option make sure that the Preferred Spouse is shown.

Situation

Individual has had more than one spouse

The Preferred couple relationship is selected with the Set Preferred Spouse selection

With the New Person Page when displaying the View my relationship to an ancestor and the show spouses is selected the Preferred Spouse is not displayed.

The previous version does not have this problem because the option of displacing the spouses does not exists.

I've had patrons complain about this. The "view relationship" option doesn't show the preferred spouse.

I cannot find a place to ask this so please advise. View relationship from the new person pages is showing “6th cousin” but does not show the tree information at all.

In using "View Relationship" from the "New Person Page" the tree pops up with a view of the nearest couple relationships to the Person, but then before you can read anything it unzooms to an unreadable view of the entire relationship tree between you and the person.

This is a total anoyance as the user must then re-zoom the view to see the nearest relationships of the person as well as to have something anywhere near readable on the screen. It requires multiple zooms, and repositioning of the view --- when all I want is the initial connection ... e.g. to a spouse who is my line ancestor, or through a parent.

Just give me the initial zoomed view of the individual of interest, and stop the useless fancy stuff -- the unzoomed view is totally unreadable and therefore useless and requires effort and time to return to!
