    This name also appears on line 28. I believe it is Nancy. They are listed as female in both lines.

    It appears to be the name that is listed at the top of the form Nancy McCrrey.

    Could also be Nancy McCresey or McCleery. I couldn't find any surnames beginning with McCrr

    I can find no people with those names in that area. I can't find the marriage records of Mrs. Nacy White's marriage to a J.L. ?? If I could find what the last name is, I could make some stride in family information.

    @Bobbie64 - thanks for posting your query in FamilySearch Community. I agree with LarryClark43. The name is certainly recorded as Nancy McCrrey but it is certainly unlike any surname I've seen in Scotland. The nearest that I have seen here that sounds like that is McRae. Of course it may be an Irish variation of McRae which would explain the unusual spelling. Good luck with your research. You could try Scotland's People on the following link - https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/.

    I think it might be McLarey or McLearey. The third letter certainly looks like an "L" to me, not a "C" (which is not looped in the second letter). There are many instances of McLearey and McLarey indexed in FamilySearch, and a search on "mcl*rey" didn't produce any other real alternatives.

    @Bobbie64

    Here is the same 1860 US Census Tishomingo, Mississippi image link here on FamilySearch:

    https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GBSZ-LHL?i=20&cc=1473181&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM6GK-Z22

    I would invite you to compare the handwriting of various names surrounding your highlighted name. From this same page - one family above - you can see the combination of 'rr' in surname Burrass/Burross.

    From a few pages previous:

    https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9BSZ-27F?i=18&cc=1473181&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM6GK-Z8M

    Line 4 McClarey is quite a good comparison.

    From searching I also cannot locate a good supporting/enlightening prior/subsequent document of this family. There are possibilities for sure - but nothing that seems to correspond to this family as a group - from what I have seen.

    Why do you suspect Nancy is a White? Do you suspect the White boys listed could be from Nancy's possible first marriage?

    Due to the parent ages I would suspect there are elder 'McCrreey' children - unless this is Nancy's second marriage.

    From a little searching I would probably suspect the surname is Mcr?ry, McC?rrey or a variant of McCray/McCrae (as mentioned previously).

    If there were surname distribution tools for Mississippi/Tennessee area I would be checking those for McC*y matches.

    I hope you or someone else here in FamilySearch can locate a good family match.
