Restricted entry

I entered information about a family member but when I came back to it to enter more information it suddenly said "this person does not exist has been removed or is restricted in Family Search" what can I do

    First, check whether it was a momentary glitch. There's a message like that within the HTML behind every profile. Normally, the page loads past that message, so you don't see it, but if something stops the page from loading -- either the actual error or a connectivity hiccup -- then you end up with it. Then your browser "helpfully" saves the error page to go with that URL, and serves it up repeatedly instead of looking again. The easiest way around this is to go to the profile using a different browser. If it works there, then some housekeeping (clearing your FS-related cache and cookies) in the original browser should restore functionality.

    To Julia's detailed answer and good explanation - I find that a simple reload of the page (circle arrow at the upper left of the browser page) does away with that 'glitch' every time I've encountered it.
