IMPORTING ( ROOTSMAGIC8 )

For some reason or another, I can't seem to import the data from here onto my ROOTSMAGIC8 app? Is anyone else having the same problem?

I have tried it without success as well. I tried a different program (Family Tree Maker) and that is functioning fine so I suspect that the problem is at the Rootsmagic end.

You likely need the latest release of RootsMagic 8.

I also had trouble pulling data from Family Tree with RootsMagic 8 released just a few weeks ago. The latest release fixed it.

I updated mine before trying and it still did not work! Perhaps the bug persists in the free version.

The latest release of the RootsMagic 8 free version is working for me to import from Family Tree.

Perhaps @Christopher51 could share some screenshots reflecting the specific problem they are having.

And clicking Retry a few times doesn't help?

I have an import running now. It halts once in a while with the same message, I wait a bit and click Retry, and it continues running.
