Missing family tree
All of my husband’s ancestral info is missing—names, dates, ordinances, etc. included many generations. Appears it never made it thru the migration from PAF. Do I need to re-type all of the info over again, or is there some way or recover it??? Please help me.

Hi Jill Welcome to Family Search Community and posting your concern about your husband's ancestors. Typically your husband's ancestors will be able to be recovered. However, you didn't give us any clues as to who your husband is or his closest deceased ancestors. If you will provide us with his name and closest deceased relatives we would be happy to look. For example, if his parents are deceased we would need his name and the names of his parents. If his parents are still living we would need him, his parents and grandparents. You can also check on your own family tree in Family Search. Just make sure you have entered your husband and his parents. If his parents are deceased, all his ancestors will automatically be linked to his tree. If his parents are still living, then enter them and his grandparents. Good luck and feel free to provide us the additional information.

Hi Wayland— thank you for your quick response! If I understand correctly, if I just re-enter my husband's deceased parents into his tree, all the generations will magically appear? Thanks again!
