Idea for higher pixelation of images for indexing
In the goal to index as many records as quickly as possible, I've noticed very poor pixelation that seems to be the result of radial distortion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distortion_(optics) that occurs when a single camera takes a picture of a large or non-circular object, like a rectangular page. Can the church consider creating a contraption that is supported in a way with multiple cameras and lights so that multiple pictures are taken at once and any radial distortion is removed? They would have to be merged, but this is a technology that is very possible and would avoid the below, where indexers and OCR (optical character recognition) alike can have better images to work with. Thoughts?
