US Virginia vital records 1715-1901: Marriage Register

I have a husband with a name in the "Parent or Guardian" field the has just a first initial and a surname and "parent" beside it. Since I can't tell if it is the father or the mother, where should I put it? All of the other entries that have a name in this field specify father or mother.

I would put it in Father fields.
