Program won't let me separate a parent and a child.

I tried to remove James Burns, Esq. 1740 from parents: Laird Burns and Jenet Pock and the program didn't operate correctly.

Their James Burns 1746 - 1815 died in Christian, Kentucky while James Burns, Esq. 1740 died in Derry, Mifflin Co, Pennsylvania.
