How to fix the German death record indexed mistake of the spouse for the subject of the death event.
Johann Joachim Heinrich Henning😀
3 May 1826 – Deceased
• L49S-37T
Johann Henning is the spouse and NOT the one who died, but the dates are linked to his name. The wife, Katharina Maria Sophia Schuldt
1831–1868
• L49S-3W5
is the actual person who died, and the parents identified are HERS.

The index is merely a finding aid, so the fact that it has the roles backwards is annoying but largely immaterial. The records are correctly attached to her parents, not his, and the death data is entered on her profile, not his, so really the only thing that needs fixing is the source tagging. I suggest removing all but the "name" tag on his source citation, and adding "birth", "death", and "burial" tags on hers. The other thing you can do is to edit each citation and add a Note/Description about the error in the index.
