How do I go back to a record I've already indexed if I know I made a mistake?

No, there is not. A reviewer should catch your mistake.

Once you have submitted a record you cannot get it back. You must rely on the person doing the review to correct the mistakes. We all make mistakes and then in a batch or two realize what we have done.
At that point you just smile that you have learned and go on.😊
Hope this helps , have fun indexing.

I did a few that were Chicaho, Cook, Illinois instead of Chicago, Cook, Illinois. Slip of the finger.

Thank you for your kind words! I hope the reviewer catches my mistake too. I wrote the place as St. Agnes Church. I forgot to include Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.

You disregard the church name. It is indexed as Chicago, Cook, Illinois. If there is no city listed, the Marriage Place is indexed as Cook, Illinois.

All of which makes me very thankful for reviewers! Also for the ability to correct mistakes even after they reach the Family Tree for many records!
