I cant find the search area for Italian Military personnel. Just want to search by name and date of birth, along with the area in Italy.

@Christine Chiappetta, as you are interested in Italian Military records, you might find the following item in the FamilySearch Wiki to be of help.

If you scroll down to the section, Finding Military Records, you will see that Italian military records are kept by military districts. The archive of the military district stores the records. Most military districts are within the geographical boundaries of a province. A province can have up to three military districts, and in rare cases a military district may encompass two provinces.

You will also find, in this section, links to military records by province. Clicking any of the links will take you to the records that FamilySearch holds. Note that only records up to 2008 are included in this list. To check for later military records, if you know the province in which your family member resided, you can use the option to Search the Catalog for the that specific province in Italy and then look for Military Records for that province.
