@JamesPlatt4 I am not sure if you are indicating you disagree with her birth location?

Sources attached to her profile (KWC6-RVZ) - indicate she was born Worcestor, England (death certificate, newspaper article, memories, etc.). If you have sources indicating Ireland you may attach them to the profile or start a Discussion on her Collaborate tab. The sources appear to be conclusive - perhaps you are recollecting some other person's birth in Ireland?

Interesting. The sources (for KWC6-RVZ) include an 1871 census record that shows (as with other records) her to be the daughter of Richard Kendrick and Julia Ann Lawrence. Yet the only birth registration record to "match" is for the March 1867 Quarter - Upton Registration District (which includes Berrow). However, her birthdate is given (in documents) as 20 June 1867 - impossible if the birth was registered in the previous period. Incidentally, the individual shown in the GRO register for 1867, is named Alice JANE Kendrick and has no mother's maiden name in her record - whereas her "siblings" (from the census record) are shown with mother LAWRENCE.

Added to this, James believes his ancestor was born in Ireland! So are we talking about two, or even three, separate individuals here?

I commonly find differences between 'birth' and registration dates to not be a 'big' problem - as long as one can be relatively certain that it is the correct person (through other documentation) - especially for female age (in America where originated elsewhere) ...

I yield to your post. And doubt the name combination would have been to any other. SO retraction, my grandmother was born in England. Abd I thank you.
