1950 US Census Page Not Indexed

Greetings. I came across a page in the 1950 US Census that was not indexed. The pages before and after it are indexed so it appears someone just missed this page entirely. How do I get this fixed? I'd happily do it myself if I could. Image and page link below.

Oregon is on the completed list for reviewing. So since it's been made available on FamilySearch, not sure if they can add this to the upcoming correction project they have scheduled for October or November.

I know there are pages in Minnesota that were not reviewed as well.

Maybe one of these two people can provide an answer: @Sam Sulser, @Janell Vasquez

Sorry for the late response.... There are some images that the AI had a hard time with, and those are being redone from scratch. They will be worked on over the coming months and be loaded for all the states starting in November, but it will likely take a few months before they are all added in.

Janell, I cannot find my family on the 1950 census either. I am a long time volunteer with familysearch.org and I would be very happy to assist with redoing the census as I'm sure many of the other volunteers would. I live in New Jersey and I even know the exact location where we lived in 1950 but I couldn't access the census itself to see if the name was misspelled or exactly why they weren't there. I tried searching on ancestry.org and my father's surname is correct, but the rest of the family has a different spelling of the surname. This makes me think that his name is the last name on one page of the census and we are on the next page which is why our surnames are spelled differently. However, I can't see the census on ancestry.com either.

So on Ancestry, you found them in the index but can't click into the image to view the image?

There is a continued volunteer project that is helping to do some of this work. If you'd like to be involved, send me a private message with your email address and the states you'd like to work on.

Hi, I have a similar issue. Found a page where only about half the page is transcribed:

I know they are still working on TX, so I'm a little surprised this is released.

The entry for my family members in the 1950 Census includes only some of the children, even though I can clearly see the ones missing from the index on the image. How can the census index be editted to include the people skipped over on the index?

They are working on a program that will allow us to edit the index. It should be available later this year. Once it's available, you will see a different view of the index when you are looking at the image, or when you click Edit on the record details page.

When I couldn't find my own mother and grandparents in 1950 census, I had to search FamilySearch copy.

Found this particular district had last page omitted from indexing https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHK-9QH7-THS1?view=index&action=view&groupId=TH-7771-115376-7286-8

I know my mother and grandparents are there because I checked with National Archives to be sure before FS indexing was underway.

To my dismay, the very last page was not indexed. On previous pages, my great-grandparents, granduncles, aunts and cousins are indexed along with friends I knew from associations.

I want to index this page.
