Same source listed multiple times
I'm trying to clean up a person's page and see the same source attached multiple times. Is it possible to delete the extras and if so, how? tia

No you should not delete them because the system will just rehint them. Most of the time - in my experience - they are duplicate indexes of the same record or else maybe user created non-FamilySearch site/record versus FamilySearch record. In the future maybe FamilySearch can develop a way to combine those into one record?

And if you delete them from one profile, another user may well come along and create a duplicate profile using that source. Better to have all of the sources attached to a single profile to avoid the opportunity for more duplicates.

I look at it this way. One of the features of Family Tree is that each profile can act as a master catalog of all entries for that person in the FamilySearch historical databases. By leaving all the sources attached, even the duplicates, we are actually working to link each historical record to the proper person in history.
For example, here are some search results that gave two different Mikkels born in the same place in the same year. It's pretty obvious here that there are two different people here, but still, by attaching all of these, even though they will look like duplicates on the two profile source pages, anyone doing this search will be able to jump directly to the corresponding Family Tree person no matter which source they start from.
Here two sources have not been attached yet. Just think of what it will be like when you can search for anyone in the historical records, click on the one source you find, jump to Family Tree, then from the source page jump to every other source for that person on FamilySearch.
