    You probably can't.

But then most of Family Tree is a work in progress and always will be. Going ahead and putting what you do know for sure in Family Tree will let it's hinting system find information for you. Also, if other relatives find your work, they may be able to add to it. The only thing I would not put in Family Tree is speculation and guesses, keep those to yourself in your own records until you work out reasonable conclusions.

why not share it - even if it is a work in progress

any genealogical work -- is a work in progress -- and the more you do -- the more there is to do.

this work never gets completed . . . it will always be a work in progress

Please don't be one of those peopel who spends their entire life trying to put together the perfectly complete and accurate family tree - and keeping it from others until they do - never actually getting it done -- and then it all be dumped out in the trash when the person dies - because it was never shared. What a waste.

YES - genealogy is a work in progress -- that doesn't mean we can 't share and collaborate in this massive work in progress.

PLEAE SHARE - like we all do -- our "work in progress"
