Nobody can help you until you provide the ID numbers of the persons left that you deleted.

Some names are back, but I only get my father's father's side of the family tree. I can't see his mother's side, nor anyone on my mother's side. For some reason, my family tree starts with my oldest ancestors and not with me today.

I only got the homepage. When I clicked on the tree, I got the same thing.

yes but clicking on the home page - should bring up your person record

and thus include your parents and grandparents (assuming you have made those connections)

can you elaborate what you mean by "family tree is missing"

(clicking on the home icon should bring your own record back and you should see it linked to your family tree)

Note, however, we are assuming that you are using the same account you used to "create your family tree" in the first place - is that correct?

I almost get the impression you are logging in with a different account.

Elaborate? Only my father's father's family appears. And as far as I know, I am not logging in with a different account, which leads me to believe that my Family Search account has been hacked. You may be onto something! Thanks!

I seriously doubt your account has been hacked

hackers surely have more serious things to be hacking then your family genealogy.

can you share with me the ID of your father's father?

how long ago was it you created this "family tree" you allude to?

I created most of it beginning in 2018. His ID is LBFW-MR6.

    So who is LBFW-MR6?

And, by the way, you never responded to @Dennis J Yancey about clicking the little icon that looks like a house. THAT is what everyone has to click now in order to go back to the beginning of YOUR portion of the tree. There has been a change, and when you log in and click on tree, you will no longer go to your home person. You will always go to the person you were last on when you closed down. To get back to your home position, you have to click the little house icon.

I clicked on that, and was sent back to the my Family Search home page. And to Mr. Yancey, I don't intend on rebuilding my Family Search account from scratch. It took me years to build it. I'll delete my account before I do that. With all do respect, your questions and Mr. Yancey's questions have not been helpful. I'll wait until I hear back from someone who works for Family Search. Thanks for your help.

Albert Gerzen You would never have to rebuild that tree. If you built records, they are there.

And with all due respect, your answers have not been helpful either. When I look at the tree for Frank Gerzen (1858-1903), I see parents for him and his wife, I also see all sets of grandparents for him and his wife, and one set of great grandparents. I look at the change history for grandfather Franz Grzenia, and did not see any place in the change log where you added parents.

Are you saying there should be more than these generations?

    @Albert Gerzen

Firstly, you might have to wait a long while before you "...hear back from someone who works for Family Search" as this forum consists almost entirely of volunteers - whether FamilySearch missionaries or ordinary users, like myself.

Like Gail, I cannot identify your problem here. I, too, brought up LBFW-MR6 and could see no obvious omissions / disappearance of family members from looking at his pedigree (Landscape) view. There are branches (going forward and back) for both the Gerzen and Brunke families, so could you clarify who exactly you believe to have disappeared?

Members of this Community forum go out of the way to help others, but we just can't understand what you mean by, "My family tree is missing" when so many family members are clearly visible to us. If we are somehow missing your point, please be more specific. From what can be seen, you should not have to rebuild anything from scratch, however.

Hope you do not mind but I have entered your tree. Everything is there.

You need to click on the Home icon as already suggested by Dennis or go to Recents and click your name at the top of the list.

On the new home page this is easily found
