I signed up to help with the 1950 census project. Several people I did not know phoned and asked me to verify their hours of indexing for community service hours. One individual tells me his lawyer requires confirmation on formal letterhead. Any idea on how I can obtain official family search letterhead so I can confirm my new friend's indexing efforts/hours?

@PriceQuentinB , you might try posting to the Indexing Category. I am doubtful than FS has anything to do with verifying hours spent indexing. There may be an outside organization that had a project, they would be the people to contact about hours of their participants.

@PriceQuentinB "One individual tells me his lawyer requires confirmation on formal letterhead"? Sounds like a scam to me. I would completely ignore them and not give them any information unless you hear from the judge who sentenced these people to community service.
