How to access Newspapers.com at a Family History Center?
Hello, back before the pandemic, we could access Newspapers.com for free at a Family History Center. I went to a Family History Center today to use it again, but Newspapers.com was not listed on the list of premium sites on the portal. The premium extension was installed and working.
Newspapers.com is still listed on the FamilySearch Wiki as being available:
But it was not listed with the other premium sites on the portal page at the Family History Center.
Is this a bug or is Newspapers.com no longer available at Family History Centers? Thank you for your help.

According to the Wiki page you linked, the institutional version of Newspapers.com is only available at the Family History Library (FHL). There is only one FHL, at Salt Lake City in the United States.

Thank you for clarifying that. I had not picked up on the distinction. Sounds then like Family History Centers do not have access anymore.

I used Newspapers.com at our Family History Center last night. Worked fine. And it's in the list of premium sites.

Also, the article talks about the need to install a browser extension on all browsers on all machines. If you don't see a little green dot in the upper right corner, no premium sites will work. Hope this helps!

My apologies. I was actually referring to http://www.newspaperarchive.com/

I noticed the same thing this weekend. Newspapers.com is listed on the wiki page but it’s no longer listed on the FHC portal page as an available premium site.

I have been given to understand the access to News Paper archives has been removed generally because of a status of licensing, which has changed in recent times and is only provided now in a limited way.
Cheerio for now!
