Error in an historical record
The historical Record has:
Daniell Dalton Christening Date 18 Oct 1636
Christening Place Keelby, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom
Father's Name Daniell Dalton
Mother's Name Grace
I looked at the original scan at a FHC and found that the mother's name is Jane not Grace.
This is on Film FHL 1541933 Image 803. The transcription error occured because the person thought the ampersand was a G. Look at the first in the list of baptisms on this page and you will see a real Grace which is very different from the mother of this record. This error has propogated to Ancestry and FMP. It is a crucial error since this birth links the Daltons of Yorkshire with the Daltons of Suffolk (though Daltons in Lincs).
