Missing particular years from records collection. What to do?
Hello, I was pretty happy to found a collection from the small village in Ukraine called Molotow and was able to find a lot of my relatives there. it is not indexed yet which is OK but its missing a years range 1865-1876. Does anybody know why and where I can find those as well as more newer records dating after 1893?
here is a link for this collection https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9RS7-35T?owc=QVJ3-8NM%3A180600901%2C201799001%3Fcc%3D1910265
Thank you

@MaksymHnativ Looking in the catalog for the records for Molotow, we can see that the 1865-1876 gap in the records was in the original filming. Unfortunately, we have no details as to why those records are missing.
It could be that the manuscripts that were filmed in the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in L'viv were missing for those years. Or the film crew somehow missed capturing the images. As for the later records, those are likely missing because of privacy laws at the time of the original filming.
FamilySearch does return to areas where they have filmed in the past from time to time to update the record collections. We don't have any information about places they are focused on at the moment. So, for now, we can only suggest that you check back from time to time to see if more records have become available.

@MaksymHnativ I noticed that the collection you are using displays this source when it comes up
Have you tried looking on the website of the referenced archive to see if they have any of the additional records you are looking for? Here is a research wiki article about Ukraine Archives and Libraries https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Ukraine_Archives_and_Libraries It has additional links to specific archives. as well

@karenrasmussen Thank you for your respond.
Unfortunately there are no microfilmed materials on this link. But I was able to find a full list of archive materials for my particular village which are stored in a Lviv state historical archive and available for in person visit only and contain much more materials (Fond201 Opis 4a) than present on a familysearch site now.
So I was wondering if familysearch.org is planning to extend microfilming the above mentioned collection in order to add years 1900 and later or in person visit would be the only option? Thanks.

That is a good question. I do not know of anyone who knows what microfilming projects are in the que. I guess we just wait and hope for the best.

@N Tychonievich Thank you for your respond. I was able to find a complete catalog for the fond 201 on the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in L'viv's website which is in Ukrainian and the particular record for the abovementioned years for Molotow was absent. So, you was right, it's probably missing in Ukrainian Lviv's archive unfortunately. Anyway, thanks to Family search the rest materials for this village let me trace my family tree to late 17 hundreds which is amazing. Now I'm working on indexing those records for myself and adding to my family tree. Looking forward to see more recent years being uploaded but considering all this situation in Ukraine it's royally will not happen soon 😞
