My great aunt Verda Ella Burbank is still alive and someone has put her in FamilySearch as deceased. The number is GC3N-DLJ. I just got a message this morning from her son Steven that she is 98 years old and still alive, living in Kerns, Utah with her son Tim. Can someone fix this please?

To ask FS staff's assistance in marking someone as still living, edit the profile's "Death" conclusion and choose the "Living" radio button (circle). When you click Save, you will be asked how you know the person is alive; you can mention and/or summarize her son's message to you. Staff at FS will look at it, usually within a few days (depending on the current workload). If they agree with you, they will change the status to "living", at which point the profile will disappear from public view and go into the "private space" of the account that created it. (Sometimes that account no longer exists, in which case they sometimes "give" the profile to the person who reported it living. That's how I ended up with a profile in my private space for the composer Kodály's second wife.)
