How can I get FamilySearch to open up on my own personal page each time I enter famlilysearch.org
I'm helping a person who is frustrated when she opens up familysearch.org that it doesn't come up showing her own page every time she enters famlysearch.org. I haven't got a clue how this can happen. It seems that she is unable to do any research unless she first accesses her own page and goes from there. I guess she would like to make her own page, her home page. Help?

Family Tree (FT) has recently implemented something new, in the past week or so. It has always remembered the 50 or so most recent people you've worked on, but now when you sign out of FT , and get in the next day, or next month, it goes back to the most recent thing you were doing. So when it does that, you can look at your Recents list, click Recents up above, and your name will always be at the top of your recents list. Just click your name there, and you will be back to you.
The recents list has always been useful. If you have not been in FT for awhile, and then get back in again, you might ask yourself, What was I doing the last time I was on FT? You can just click up on Recents to see the recent people you've been looking at.
If you get into your phone and get into FT, before you get on to the computer, then when you do get on to your computer, FT should remember that also, and should then go straight to you when you sign in.

margaret elizabeth jones It is a recent change. When you go to the family tree, the last person worked on will appear. I personally like it because most of the time I am continuing research from the previous session. However, it is one click to get to the home page. Tell her to click the picture of the home icon (looks like a house) in the upper right.

Chas Howell It was apparently being checked. Yours is now what mine is. LOL. No longer the blue timer.
Anyway, margaret elizabeth jones the house icon is now shown several times. LOL
