Signing New People into Community
For the past several weeks, new people who are either new to FS or have had an account on FS, but have not previously signed up for Community are unable to sign in! There's a bizarre error message. I serve at the Family Search Library and it has been an on-going issue for over a month. It's rather unfortunate as I usually recommend people sign up for Community. It's not an issue of them not having the email connected to their FS account, as I verified that they were all connected and it was public. FS staff tried to detect the problem and had the same issue. HELP!

I think I experienced the same exact issue - on some alternate accounts that I have
please have the engineers thoroughly test the process of registering in the community. - at least some scenarios seemed to be totally broke. and with error messages that made no sense at all.

So, how do we get the engineers to address this on-going issue? It's gone on too long.

well for one - our discussion here is a little too high level.
exact users id's , exact scenarios and steps, also screen shots need to be compiled so they can be shared with the engineers. (rather than post all that here - just start compiling it) and I will see if we can get this escalated and a specific team to contact you privately.

I was informed that this issue has been fixed as of this morning. If you still have issues, please report them here so we can reopen the issue with the engineers.

sad that we had to go so long with this broke - I first noted it more than a month ago. -- but thought it was ust something unique to me.
You would think the engineers would have test scrips that would get run daily and report status
what is often referred to as a "health check"
especially for key processes - such as creating a new account, logging into Community, and various other key processes - so that if there was a problem -- FS engineers would be notified right away
