why does family tree return to the last place i viewed?? I do not like this new aspect of fmailytree
pls can we have the family tree return to the very beginning of family tree and not the last position we previously visited!! Thank you though engineers for all your very hard work. I still think you people are GREAT.

Thank you for posting your question in the Community.
The issue of Family Tree not returning you back to the starting person has been reported to our engineers. Until this problem is fixed, we suggest you click on the house icon located below your name on the upper right-hand side of your screen. That will bring you back to the starting position in Family Tree.

The house icon is not available if you're on a descendancy chart, and even when it is available, it always resets the zoom.
I've been using the Recents menu to click on the tree-stublet next to my home person (myself) to get back to where I wanted to be.
At least that way, I don't need to adjust the zoom.

I'm too having the same issue for the last 2 weeks. I sign out and sign back in but my tree remembers the last ancestor I viewed and starts my landscape tree there. Thank you for the suggestion to click on the Home button. I had no idea what it did and it works.
