Family Tree App will not allow sign

I was asked today by a sister, who had until a few months ago been able to log into her Family Tree App, but it has stopped about the time that the membership account and familysearch were separated. She logs into her familysearch account using her membership log in, and not her familysearch log in. I am not sure that they were the same previously.

She can still log into familysearch on her desktop using membership log in, but when she tries to log into the family tree app it says incorrect log in / or password. This has happened to her husbands mobile app also.

Can someone direct me what to advise her?

      Hi Karen

Thanks for visiting the FamilySearch community and posting your questions. As you have noted, it is possible to sign into FamilySearch using the membership login. However, membership login is not accepted on the Family Tree App. Sign in on the app must be with a Family Search Account. If the sister you are helping does not know her family search account credentials, perhaps you can help her reset them. You can also have her contact family search support for help with her family search account. Hope this helps.

FYI The latest update to the FamilyTree App has changed this to allow for Church Account login credentials as well as your FamilySearch login credentials.
