This is concerning "New York, State Death Index, 1880-1956", database, FamilySearch : 18 July 2022 > image 190 of 1002 (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSG8-PSZQ-8?cc=2803479).

On just this one page the robot indexer puts Newport NY in Wales, UK, Verona NY in Italy, and Roma NY in Italy.

The index editor requiring a standard place name is a problem for Newport because New York has several places named Newport. If only we could pick Newport (disambiguate), New York, United States and leave it for in-depth research by someone else.
