It appears that the name of the husband and wife were written in the wrong places on the document.

Should I index it as is, or should I make corrections and index the name of the husband and wife ?

Project Instructions, What to Remember about this Project, 4th bullet point states:

"Index the first name as the principal person, and the second name as the spouse."

This project does not identify the first person as the husband in the index fields although the actual form does. In this case we ignore the form's classification of the first person as husband.

I know it is confusing but what it does is not force us to decide if a name is male or female. We just ignore male or female and index in order.
