Confused

I've been indexing/arbitrating for decades. The directions are confusing me about whether to enter names:

If the name is a company or store I understand not to enter it. But what if the owner and vp and treasurer or whomever was added? For instance: Smith and Smith Company and above Smith someone has handwritten John. Now we know the Smith had a first name, John. Do we enter him?

We would index the name if there is a complete name. So yes!

    Thanks for asking!
