Why is Newspapers.com not available on the FamilySearch Center Premium Content
Has Ancestry.com taken newspapers.com out of the portal?

I am not connected with FamilySearch. It no longer appears to be available generally.
According to the FamilySeach Wiki page "Family History Center Portal" / Newspapers.com - Institutional Version
Institutional Version only available at Family History Library

The FS WiKi May list newspapers.com as being at the portal at the FHCenters, I was there this morning, at the FH Center in Hurricane Utah, and it was no longer listed with the premium websites through the FHC Portal.

The Wiki says it is "only available at the Family History Library." That does not mean that it is available at Family History Centers.

Several months ago here in the EU Region, we were told the "Licensing" for the Newpaper.com premium site had been changed, which merited lowering the access of this sites availability in FHCs. As I understand there may be a selected number of FHC still able to access this site.

At the Tech Talk meeting the last 2 months they have noted that the sites available will be more fluid going forward. You can to to the Wiki and type in the search box FHC Portla" and find the current list of available sites. Even though Newspapers.com is gone they do have NewspaperArchive. For some this one may be better.

Good advice. It may take up to 24 hours for the Wiki to update. If that is the case, the Premium Sites on your FHC listing has the current site availability.

They have Newspaper Archive on the Premium Sites, which is something but not as good and as easy to use as newspapers.com. it's a bit harder to find what you are looking for.
Some of the other Premium Sites are not working and it is very frustrating, especially showing patrons. Utah
