When attempting to access the community my friend continues to get an error message telling her to Register or Sign in. She is already signed into Family Search. We cannot sign in.
Have you tried to sign in lately? This Sign in/Register error was brought to the attention of our engineers and should have been fixed as of Aug 30th. Are you able to get in to FamilySearch Community now?
You can be signed in to FamilySearch and not signed in to the Community. It is 2 separate sign-ins. In fact, you can even use different sign-ins (different username/password) for the 2.
@Áine Ní Donnghaile thanks for answering Bob's question @Bob Gowans. We are looking for Bob's friend to join us here in the Community. In addition, there are several Groups in the Community that may be able to answer questions regarding specific questions for both Bob's and his friend's needs. The various Groups can be found under the area entitled Groups at the top of the FamilySearch Community page.
Signing in is the problem, solving the error message, which seems to have been a common problem after reading several other questions and responses, may be the answer.
