Fan Chart Generations Missing

Recently, when I display my fan chart, the option to select the number of generations to display is gone. Typically I can see 7 generations. I have deleted cookies in my browsers, tried it on multiple browsers on my MacBook Pro; tried it on our windows computers at our FHC. It even happens when I am a helper for other people and look at their fan chart.

I submitted a support ticket and was told to clear cookies, try it on other browsers and computers. The response is that there aren't any issues with the fan chart. But, there are issue for me!

Any ideas?

They have moved the pick number of generations under the icon which is in your picture. See in the upper right, the icon which is between the Fan Chart and the Home Icon, that little icon, not sure how to describe it, select it and you can see and select the number of generations you want to see in your fan Chart.

    It's not gone, just hidden:

@Cindy Hecker, I've described the button as "fish/eyes": either a pair of fish swimming in opposite directions, or a pair of mismatched eyes. It's actually supposed to be sliders, like on a fancy old-fashioned sound system.

@Diane Whittaker, thank you for this illustration of just exactly how bad the current minimalist style in webdesign is.

A note to webdesigners everywhere, and at FamilySearch in particular: if functions or content are not visible, the natural reaction is to assume that the functionality or content doesn't exist. Also: experience has given most of us an aversion to clicking things that we can't identify, so mystery buttons without even a tooltip are a Bad Thing.
