Unable to access Ancestry Institution version through the portal
When we attempt to access Ancestry Institution via the Portal we get the above screen. Unable to access the version and cannot sign into Ancestry account.

Hello there
In the last few days, the Portal Extension, in Chrome and Edge has been "fluctuating" in and out of workability. However, I have found that the Portal Extension now available in Firefox has been very stable for a good while.
If you open this URL in Firefox: https://www.familysearch.org/fhcenters/portal
and click the view sites link, you immediately see at the top of the page on the right, a download option for the Portal Extension. Click this to open the Help Article for the installing the extension.
In the lower section for Firefox, you now need to click the offered URL link, which will invoke the Extension Setup page. Choose Add to Firefox. I recommend you close Firefox and then reopen and use the URL above to access the Portal Page. When you click the View Sites button again, click dismiss this time and then simply scroll down to the Ancestryinstitution link, which should not open to the correct page.

One good piece of news is that we can now install the Portal Extension in the Chrome, Firefox and Edge Browsers. The latter Browser requires installation from the Chrome Webstore.
