How do we view photos without the request to tag them?

If users receive an email to review photos and memories, that use case seems to call for viewing functionality that accommodates simply viewing, or more easily browsing and viewing and to do so without being distracted with instructions to tag the people in the photo.

Im confused - - who is the sender of the emails you refer to???

what is the content of the email?

what do you mean by "use case"?

Ok - in re-reading I guess you are simply stating that for anyone just browsing the photos it is distracting to see the instructions to tag. Which I kind of understand . but if they are familiar with the people in the photo - one of the ways to get the items tagged is indeed to ask users to tag them =- if they know people in the photo.

but most photos would have been tagged to at least one person by the person who uploaded them in the first place.

can you point us at a specific url example.

I find the constant pop-up to tag annoying, also.

right - but what I wonder -- is it only for an item that has not yet been tagged?

or does this apply to any photos whether it has been tagged already or not.

or is the issue with photos that dont even have people in them to tag in the first place. (such as images of documents).

This comment came from a user of FamilySearch and was communicated to me. In an email campaign, they were asked to look at the photos (some had been previously tagged) and couldn't even look carefully at the photos without the tagging pop-up obscuring what they were trying to look at. Very annoying!!!!
