FamilySearch Mapps issue
Is there a problem with the FamilySearch Mapps link? The England parish maps will not load when accessing the site during the last few days -- https://www.familysearch.org/mapp/....
Very valuable resource, so just wondering if there is a problem, or if it's going away? Thanks for all you do to help us research!

@Ottley BQ Hmmm, it works in Chrome and Firefox and MS Explorer for me. Can you check your Chrome version? It looks like the current version is 103.0.5060.114.
You might also try entering the URL into you address bar instead of using the link in the wiki: https://www.familysearch.org/mapp
If that works, you might want to bookmark the site. I'll ask some other support folks to try it out to see if anyone can replicate your experience. So far, I've not been able to and I can't report something that I can't replicate.

In addition to following N Tychonievich's good advice to make sure your browser is up to date, you may also want to try some "housekeeping" in Chrome: delete your FS-related history (cache and cookies) and then try the map page again. Chrome may have saved an incompletely-loaded or glitched version of a file, and now it keeps "helpfully" trying to use that instead of going and fetching a new one.

@Ottley BQ The 1851 England Jurisdiction maps seem to be loading just fine. Would you give it another try? If the parish maps continue to not load for you, perhaps you can provide a few more details so we can try to track down the problem:
- What parish map did you search for?
- What is your computer operating system and version?
- What browser are you using? Is it updated? Have your tried using a different browser?
- Have you cleared cookies lately? It's often a quick solution. You can clear just the FamilySearch cookies by going to https://www.familysearch.org/cookies

Cleared the cookies just now using your link (above), but still not working. I'm using the "England Jurisdictions 1851 Map" link from the Wiki, which produces the following URL: https://www.familysearch.org/mapp/, but the map will not load as it usually does - a blank, even when parish information is entered. I'm using the Chrome browser and recently updated. On Windows 11 operating system.

@Ottley BQ I tested in Firefox and it worked as designed. Just tried it in Chrome and as soon as I clicked a map pin, the parish map loaded. I just did a general search of London, since you didn't provide anything specific.
Here is what I did:
Searched for London--the map redrew with several map pins and a parish list appeared on the left under the search box. I clicked a few map pins and each opened up info about a parish and an outline of the parish boundaries. I also tried clicking a parish name in the list on the left and got the same thing--info about the parish and an outline of the boundaries on the map.
Can you help me understand better? What did you search for? What did you see? What should you have seen? (Sorry to ask so many questions. We have to be able to replicate a problem before we can report it to the engineers and, while I'm aware of the tool, I'm not awfully familiar with how it should work).

I did try MS Explorer and it worked, but Chrome still doesn't.... Here are the steps:
1) At website https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Worcestershire,_England_Genealogy I clicked on the option below Parishes, "Use an interactive map to find jurisdictions for each parish in Worcestershire.".
2) The URL provides a familiar page, but the map of England doesn't load, and when I enter the name of the desired parish (Claines) still nothing - in fact the parish name entered disappears.
3) Attached are the two different searches - the one from MS Explorer (Image 1) produced the desired results, but Chrome (Image 2) was blank when started and blank after entering search criteria.
Thank you for your help! I'll use MS Explorer until Chrome catches up; FamilySearch reportedly (by FamilySearch) works better on Chrome, so that's why I've used it as my go-to server.
Appreciate your assistance "N Tychonievich"!

Thanks all for your responses. I'm convinced my Chrome browser needs some updating, since it works on other browser options, and on Chrome at another location where I serve, it appears I need an update (I'll check the version). I appreciate your guidance and suggestions!
