You will find a PDF copy of the FHC Operations to view or download at this link. In the Contents Table click on Communications to see Family History Mail. Hopefully you will be able to contact your predecessor to obtain the Password but, if not, you will need to contact Global Support to have it changed.

Generally speaking you need to use this URL: https://www.churchservicemail.org
You will see the screen below:
Login with your assigned Family History Centre's @familyhistorymail.org address. For example, from this link you will find the Dartmouth Ward which has an assigned an email address of NS_Dartmouth@familyhistorymail.org
I hope these instruction provide orientation for making the necessary access you require. The Global Services Department can furnish you with a password.

Sr Smith, if you log into FamilySearch.org with your FS Username and password. then go to circle with ? in it (Help menu) then at bottom left is Help Center. Now using scroll bar on right scroll down to colored circles, click "view more", and click on the "Family History Center' salmon colored circle.
3rd article is entited "Resources for a new stake temple family history center consultant". scroll through to the 8th topic and you will see instructions on how to access the FHC email and the phone number if the account has been locked due to inactivity.
