I have noticed a new consistent, widespread processing error in the record set I am working in to add sources to Family Tree due to the difference in terminology used by the Norwegian National Archives and Family Search that has added yet another variety of auto-standardization error.

In this record:

The Source Description is correct and is a direct quote from the Norwegian archives. However, because the archives uses parish instead of clerical district and local parish instead of parish, and writes the name from largest division to smallest division, the Death or Burial Place (Original) was accidentally reversed in this and probably most batches in this collection. it should have been "Valestrand parish, Sveio, Hordaland, Norge."

The error is then compounded by the truncation the auto-standardization routine performed, clipping it to just Valestrand, Hordaland, Norge, removing the correct clerical district name of Sveio which is also the municipality where this event occurred.
