Are you illustrating the problem using a Living individual? I am getting a "This person (PID) cannot be found" message at the bottom of the screen, suggesting the ID is only visible from your private space.

@MNuttall provided an illustrative screenshot in a comment on another thread about this bug (https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/127342/in-tree-my-name-laura-jean-long-shows-when-i-try-to-expand-it-show-my-husbands-family-not-mine-w#latest).

Basically, it appears that the "expand" link at the top of the descendancy chart has gotten its wires crossed and is now just as misogynistic as the First Ancestor chart: instead of showing the ancestors of the top person, it shows the ancestors of the husband in the top couple. If the top person is a man, then the "expand" link works correctly, but if it's a woman, then it shows her in-laws, not her family.
