Mis-transcription
Hi, I've searched for the marriage of George Moore and Dorothy Hall, which occurred on 27th December 1828 in Corbridge, Northumberland, England, to see if there were further details which I don't yet have. The event has come up (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGG6-5HTX) but George's surname is shown as Moon. This is incorrect and I'd like to flag this up with FamilySearch so that they can correct this mistake.

As illustrated below, you are correct that it was a George MOORE (not MOON) who married Dorothy Hall.
Unfortunately, as an image is not attached to the record (for which you provide a link) it is not editable. (You will note the "EDIT" option is greyed-out and shows as "Edit Unavailable". FamilySearch does not have the resources to address such issues, so you can only note the error if / when you attach this source to George Moore's Family Tree ID. You may also wish to add "George Moon" as an Alternate Name (under Other Information) to make it easier for other users to confirm a connection between the two names.
Many of us find it disappointing that we cannot get such errors corrected in FamilySearch, when many other websites do have systems for reporting & correcting mistakes. However, the organisation has limited resources (as stated) and has decided it best to apply these to other important work.
