Hi I am the ward Family History expert, and I am asking this for a member in my ward:

He put the name in the system as number gqw9-r5y, but he accidentally proclaimed him dead, while he is not.

When he wants to change him from dead to alive, he gets an error code (see attachment). He did ask help from FamilySearch, and got strange questions back (like: are you sure?).

Please change gqw9-r5y back to living person.

Regards bro van Eeden

    No attachment.

I am getting "Person Not Found" so this seems to have been resolved.

In any event, the process is (A) if the profile has not been edited by anyone else, simply delete it. (B) if the profile has been edited by anyone else, (1) edit the profile to change Deceased to Living, (2) Get an error message with a field to enter an explanation, (3) type in an explanation that the person is living and submit; (4) wait for Family Tree staff to respond, usually within a few weeks.
