    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

We, Users/Patrons, CANNOT "Merge"/"Combine (or, in fact, do ANYTHING), to/with "Read-Only" People.

ONLY, 'FamilySearch', can take action to "Merge"/"Combine (or, in fact, do ANYTHING), to/with "Read-Only" People - "IF' such is considered/deemed necessary/appropriate.

One must advise, of the "Details", of the individuals/persons concerned; where, the matter, will be taken into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", for consideration; and, then, if deemed necessary/appropriate, forwarded on within 'FamilySearch' for the required action.

    Furthermore ...

Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':

What are read-only records in Family Tree?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-read-only-records-in-family-tree

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-read-only-records-in-family-tree

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett
