Is the Nottingham FHC open?

Good morning!

I have emailed the Nottingham FHC at Stanhome Square several times over the past few months and have not had a reply. The phone number on the webpage is no longer in operation https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Nottingham_England_Family_History_Centre

Does anyone know a way of contacting this FHC?

A thought ...

I took a quick 'look', for Church Meeting Houses, at the location, of the "Nottingham England Family History Centre", of the Church.

I can up with this Telephone Number 01159233856

You may want to try such, on a Sunday (Morning); and, ask for the Bishop; or, a member of the Bishopric.

Someone, there should you be able to help/assist/advise; and/or, put you onto someone who can.

Thank you so much for your swift reply Brett - the number you also found 01159233856 is the one that is no longer operational (I think we looked at the same page!)

But the google maps information is very useful, and I will definitely follow up the leads on there.

The centre is open to a limited degree. If you want to send me a private message, I can pass it on to one of those who works in that centre.

I'm in the same spot as you. I have been trying to make contact to work out what time the centre is open so that I can visit. The wiki still lists the old number etc. https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Nottingham_England_FamilySearch_Centre

I wonder if you managed to make contact and know when is the best time to visit?

Currently the centre is only open in the morning of the third Tuesday each month from 10am to 12 noon. You should be okay just to turn up at that time but feel free to send me a private message shortly before to double check that it will be open. So the next slot is Tuesday 21 February.

@CharlotteMorgan7 I am now a regular Patron at the Mansfield FSC, which is open Tuesday and Friday most weeks. It is more convenient for me as I am on the north side of Nottingham.

Peter is the consultant there - get in contact with him and he will then be able to let you know if for any reason the FSC isn't open at short notice on your chosen date.
