I created my account with Family Search, but it says my account isn't authorized and needs to be activated. How do I activate my account?
Sorry you are having problems with you account. The best course of action is to call 866-406-1830 for North America/ If you are from a different part of the world, please go to family search, click on the circle with the question mark at the upper right and select your area of the world. For North America you can call between 9 am and 6 pm MT (Monday thru Saturday) and 1 pm to 6 pm MT on Sunday. They will be able to help you access your account.

"Telephone"; and, "Live ('On-Line') Chat", has been REMOVED / WITHDRAWN, from MANY, areas of the World.
[ About the one of the only areas, in the World; where, such is STILL available, is "North America" ... ]
As such ...
MANY of us can NO LONGER contact 'FamilySearch' "Support" DIRECTLY, like we used to, were previously able
So , for MANY Users/Patron, around the World, ONE of the ONLY ways to, to contact, is through this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

FamilySearch Telephone and chat support is now not available in some parts of the world.
But for much of the world,
there is in-person help available through Family History Centres
AND there is now the opportunity to send an email to Support
AND there is now the opportunity to book an appointment with a Support person.
For my location the appointment time slots cover the whole 24 hours. What a terrific service for a free website.
