Your answer helped me; but, I think you mixed branch & unit up. Thanks for answering my question.

The branch and unit are mixed up on the example, they are correct on the field helps. You can't use words other other than Army, Navy, Coast Guard, or Marines for a branch. We wouldn't assume infantry is Army. But, you also don't mark it blank, The field would be marked Not Given per the field helps. (Field helps are accessed by clicking on the purple question mark that appears when you click on the field.)
More importantly, since there is no asterisk next to this field, you don't have to enter any information or mark the fields blank. The only required fields in this project are Given Name, Surname, and Enlistment Month, Day, and Year.
