I am having a “brick wall” problem with finding KCST-GXV parents can someone help?
William K Roland born 1830 in Ralls county Missouri. Married Pelina Sparling June 6, 1851 in Pike county Missouri. Had four children Elizabeth LYP3-1FG Born in 1854-1927. Harrison 1866-? GWWP-3X8. William Allen LJY7-B3T born 1861 died 1902. Evaline Tabitha Roland LC8M-7VH born 1868 died 1943.
in 1850 census he is living in the household of Gasper Roland and Elizabeth née Keithley. Their is a problem Elizabeth if she was his mother would be 47. In the 1960 census Azrikam who is Gasper’s first born is listed living in the household of William K. Which posses the question is he his brother or his father? In the 1880 census it states that William K’s parents are born in Pennsylvania. Then to add confusion to this situation in the 1900 census it states his parents are from Pennsylvania and Kentucky. I have tried but ca not find a source to show who his parents really are. Any help would be appreciated!

A history of the pioneer families of Missouri
Part III. Histories of families (Ancestry)
page 162 and 163 tell you about the Keithley family
When I get a block I go to Ancestry.com Family Trees. They may not always be sourced well but sometimes this may get one through a blocked family. You have done a great job sourcing your information. I'd also say pray about this family and seek help to continue on your search.

Sorry but I don’t have a subscription to Ancestry and the family history library has been closed for over 2 years because of Covid.

The pandemic did not stop interlibrary loan.
In any event, one way to get past a brick wall is to go around it. Work on the immediate descendants and spouses. Work on local families with the same surnames.

FYI
It's 'Brett'.
Just in passing ...
I am curious ...
Question: WHY, the reference to "... The pandemic did not stop interlibrary loan. ..."?
The Church, STOPPED, "Distributing", Films/Fiche, way back in October 2017.
[ ie. Well before, the "COVID-19" Pandemic ... ]
As such ...
I would humbly suggest, that the inference about "... the family history library has been closed for over 2 years because of Covid ...", relates to the fact, that, in "Family History Centres", of the Church, there is FREE access to "Ancestry_com"; and, I suspect, the same may hold true, for many, "Affiliate" Libraries; and, even, just, Local Family History Libraries/Societies.
IF, ANY such, near a User/Patron, is "Closed", due to the "COVID-19" Pandemic; THEN, the User/Patron, will NOT, have ready access, to the likes of "Ancestry-com".
Hence, why, many Users/Patrons, come up against "Brick Walls" ...
Just my thoughts.

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a program of public libraries, nothing to do with FamilySearch, Family History Library, or any other LDS service. ILL is in the United States; there are similar programs in some other countries.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlibrary_loan
@MrYeliab : Worldcat (https://www.worldcat.org/title/history-of-the-pioneer-families-of-missouri/oclc/1195495291&referer=brief_results#borrow) shows the book A history of the pioneer families of Missouri held by at least 31 libraries, most of which participate in ILL. Simply ask your local library to borrow the book for you.

Sorry; but, I still think such, that is irrelevant, in relation to the 'Comment'.
[ And, I would interested to know, whether not, Microfilm; &, Microfiche, of the Church, would be acceptable ]
[ I would have thought not ... ]

FYI: Interlibrary loan often does not include genealogical works which are considered non-circulating volumes.

I would expect A history of the pioneer families of Missouri to circulate, as it is not principally a family history.

If this is the same book - same title and same author - ebook on the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/historyofpioneer00bryauoft

Dear Aine,
yes that did get me access to the book. But all it says is that Elizabeth {Keithley} .married Joseph Rowland who came to Missouri and remained for one year then he returned to Kentucky and died there.
Joseph Rowland was Elizabeth Keithley’s first husband also known as Daniel Joseph Rowland. He died in a mining accident in 1805 in Warren county Kentucky . Elizabeth had one child with Joseph. In 1806 Elizabeth marries Gasper Rowland {MTL1-KV5} who is either Joseph’s nephew or brother. This book does not go far enough. William K Roland might be either Gasper’s son, grandson or other relative. This book doesn’t say.
