Exact Search

When doing a search, and "exact match" is selected, particularly on family trees, then only those results should be shown. Yours does not reflect that selection.

I suggest you use the model that Ancestry uses.

    Yes, it is a mystery why FamilySearch should have that "Exact" option when it doesn't work! I'm not sure it ever worked in the "FIND" part of Family Tree, even before the recent change. I have limited success in using "Exact" searches when working in the main FamilySearch database, however, and personally do not find I have any more success when using either Ancestry or Find My Past, both of which only seem to prioritise their (list of) results, not completely omit those that aren't literally "exact".
