Using the "Star" to be notified when changes are made on a family member

I have always clicked on the "clear star" turning it black, in the upper right hand corner, on the FamilySearch page for my family member so that I will receive a weekly notice as to who did changes. Now when I click on the star it states that it is "unavailable".

I really would like to continue to use this & was wondering what is wrong! I'm only half way through my family, doing genealogy work, and it's important to me to know who has changed my work. I look forward to hearing from you!

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

The "Follow" (ie. "Star"), has been working fine, the last few days.

I have be selecting, the "Follow" (ie. "Star"), to "Follow" individuals/persons,; and, occasionally, "Unfollow".

I just checked again, then; and, the "Follow" (ie. "Star"), is working just fine.

Question: Are your, "Browser(s)"; and, "Operating System", Up-To-Date?

ie. Are you using the LATEST (or, in the least, the PREVIOUS) "Versions", of each?

    As an aside ...

IF, you have NOT already; THEN, ...

An "Oldie"; but, STILL, often, a "Goodie" ...

Try, "Clearing", the "Cookies"; and, the "Cache", of your "Browser" (and, even, you "Browsing History").

It does not always work; but, more often than not it does.

    Good Luck.

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett

There's a limit: you can watch/follow up to 4000 profiles. Perhaps you've exceeded that?

I would refresh the page to start, in case the profile has been merged into another profile.
