i put in a long vertical list of 25 names, i skipped number 5...do i have to retype the whole list ?

    No, you don't have to retype the list.

    The best thing to do is click on the entry BEFORE the missed name (Entry 4). Click on the + tool (7th icon from the left) and choose to add 1 AFTER the current entry. Then go to the next entry and you will have a blank form to enter the name.

    Hi @VondaFuller1 - Go the Entry immediately before the one that was missed.

    Click the 'Add Entries' tool left of the trashcan icon in the toolbar.

    Leave the selection at 1 (if you only need to add 1 entry that was missed). Select 'After the current entry' then click 'Add'

    If you have more questions, its always best to give the Batch/Project Name, like this "US Military Muster Rolls 19XX - 19XX followed by the Batch Code in the brackets [XXXX-XXX] so that we can see exactly what you're indexing or reviewing. Happy indexing! Mary😎
